What We Believe
Our emerging theology.
Throughout the centuries, Christ-followers have strived to express what exactly they believe. At first they wrote simple statements which eventually gave way to the creeds. The creeds grew in detail and complexity and eventually turned into many of the doctrinal statements we have today.As we continue to find + follow God together, our understanding of God changes. And of course, because the Journey is comprised of different people who see things differently, there can be no standard statement of what we all believe. So the following is a brief snapshot of what The Journey teaches about some of the important tenets of our faith.
