First, we see oursleves as a local expression of the The Kingdom of God. While we look and feel different than many other churches, we're a part of the worldwide revolution that Jesus started 2000 years ago.
Cornerstone Community Church in Columbia, MD is our Parent Church. Pastor Steve served there for five years before starting The Journey and still considers Pastor Bruce Hopler one of his pastors.
We are proud partners of Converge Worldwide and its regional division, Converge MidAtlantic Converge is a movement of leaders and churches working together to transform lives and communities through the life changing story of Jesus. Converge is involved in multiplying leaders and high impact churches in our region and around the world.
The Journey is a member of The Willow Creek Association in South Barrington, IL. Willow exits to stir up, call out, and equip leaders in churches around the world so that each local church would realize its full redemptive potential.
The Baltimore Free Store in Baltimore, MD promotes recycling and reuse to help alleviate the traumas of poverty and to involve communities in working together to meet their needs. The Journey is proud to be friends and supporters of the BFS.
